Cause Mission:

To provide safe, enjoyable and theraputic boat trips for those groups in our community that support people who are disabled or disadvantaged due to age, health or other vulnerability.  We offer boating experience to youth groups such as Brownies, Guides, Scouts and DofE.

We work with Canal & River Trust to maintain and protect the waterways in West Yorkshire.

Additional Information:

Established in 1995, we operate 5 boats from the beginning of March to the end of October, 7 days a week.  During this period our boats carry around 14,000 passengers, the majority of which are disabled, mentally ill, disadvantaged and vulnerable passengers.  We offer our service free of charge to community groups and are proud that all our operations are carried out by unpaid volunteers  We are funded entirely through donations.  We also offer boating experience to youth groups such as Brownies, Guides, Scouts and DofE.

All our crew are qualified and DBS cleared.  We have be given several awards, the most recent being a 2017 Life Time Achievment.
