As a father of 2 young boys I am extremely conscious of the world in which my sons will grow up in. Thus if it is possible to use my skills to make a small contribution to changing the behavior of businesses or the public and thus helping to make our country and the world we live in a safer, more equal, vibrant and productive environment, then I would like to volunteer my services to any organisation or cause with these goals. I grew up in working class part of Manchester and I firmly believe that some people start out in life with considerably less opportunity to better themselves than others. So I feel compelled to help those trapped by circumstance, poverty or their social environment, to have a chance at future success and happiness.

16 years of marketing and advertising experience in senior management roles for companies like Brother International and Xerox, in addition to senior planning and strategic roles for full service marketing and communications agencies in London and Manchester. Worked across nearly all major business sectors and developed national and international communication strategies for major brands like The Co-operative, DHL, HBOS, Bacardi and Black & Decker. Charity and social marketing experience is fairly limited, however, I have worked on social campaigns for The Co-operative (save the bee) and pitched to both the NSPCC and Severn Trent Water (water conservation programme).
