Hi All

I'm Tina, peacfully asserting myself to expand my knowledge of online marketing i am looking to offer my skills and humour in the hope to find someone out there that needs support.  It would be great to be involved in some projects whilst at the same time expanding my own skills.

I have a strong background in promotional, sales and business developement in the field (on the road) but would like to expand this into the online/media arena.

Covering the North West & Wales I influence full distribution of a core range of products through the Cash and Carry/Independent sector on behalf of Premier Foods.  Working with management/buyers, I set up systems to encourage the pull of these items to develop continued sustainable growth of brands and clients’ business.  I work closely with managers to encourage growth of both retail and catering business through national and local promotions, organising client telesales activities, attending national trade events and exhibitions as well as providing valuable feedback on competitor activity. 

 

I do central buying for 1 of our biggest Landmark accounts bringing in around £180k a quarter. I attend regular HO meetings with the group trading manager working to set terms, building a plan to grow business and utilizing clients’ media platforms to gain extra exposure for our brands.  Working with Batleys I do central buying for an estate of 28 depots across the country, working with the Business Account Manager equating to £200k per quarter.  I have assisted the client through development of key accounts to win National Business Awards for the last 2 years running.

I worked ad hoc promoting artists, musicians and emerging and established high street brands.  I arranged bar drops, data collection at gigs and events, promotional giveaways, whatever the record label requests to increase awareness of new music.  I worked increasing sales through direct selling, training store staff, demonstrating and merchandising some quality brands such as Lenovo, Sonos, Sky –iPad/iPhone4, Salford University, Next Retail, Radley London and Marks & Spencer.

I worked over 2 years in Pollensa responsible for 25 villas and an estate of apartments.  Main duties included liaising with the local property agencies, villa owners and maintenance to ensure properties ready on arrival with all facilities and extras as per booking.  Organising and co-ordinating airport transfers and reservations and office duties including customer service, sales and dealing with queries from suppliers and customers.  I dealt with emergency situations, on call for medical and criminal emergencies.
