Nia Children's Foundation
I am the Founder/Director of Nia Children's Foundation which I have been independently managing voluntarily for the last five years around my full time work.
The aim of my chairty is to support children in Kenya into education by providing schools with food supplies and education materials. I work with local African suppliers to provide the children with a daily breakfast and lunch to ensure they are healthy and focused in class. I currently feed over 360 children with the aim of increasing this every two years with a new school.
In 2011 at aged 25 I won the Social Humanitarian Award at the Asian Woman of Achievement Awards for founding and running Nia Children’s Foundation. Presented by Cherie Blair, Sir Nicolas Young and James Caan. Press articles published in the Independent on Sunday and Evening Standard.
